Protect against COVID-19

“Most people who become infected experience mild illness and recover, but it can be more severe for others.” The World Health Organization.

  • * Wash your hands frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds or with an alcohol-based hand rub. This can kill the virus.
  • * Maintain at least 2 metres (6 feet) distance between yourself and anyone who is coughing or sneezing.
  • * Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth to prevent the virus from entering your body.Cough or sneeze into your bent elbow or tissue.
  • * Dispose of the tissue immediately and safely.
  • * If you have a cough, fever or difficulty breathing, seek medical help early.
  • * Wipe down tables, counters and surfaces with a disinfectant. See the COVID-19 Learning Center page to make a disinfectant using household bleach.
  • * Avoid non-essential travel.
